RECEIPTS THIS WEEK: 109,469 LAST WEEK: 103,448 LAST YEAR: 115,680 VOLUME BY STATE OR PROVINCE OF ORIGIN: Illinois 18.2%, Missouri 14.8%, Manitoba 13.4%, Colorado 10.3%, Saskatchewan 8.8%, Iowa 7.6%, South Dakota 7.3%, Nebraska 6.3%, Indiana 5.5%, Alabama 2.1%, Montana 1.5%, Ohio 1.3%, Kentucky 1.2%, North Dakota 0.9%, Kansas 0.9%, VOLUME BY STATE OF DESTINATION: Iowa 79.7%, Minnesota 5.7%, Nebraska 4.6%, Ohio 4.2%, Illinois 2.2%, Michigan 1.3%, Kansas 1.2%, Kentucky 1.2%, TRENDS COMPARED TO LAST WEEK: Early weaned pigs 5.00 per head lower. All feeder pigs 4.00 per head lower compared to two weeks ago. Demand moderate for moderate offerings. Receipts include 55% formulated prices. Most lots of 40-60 weight pigs have a sliding value from the negotiated weight basis which is calculated on the actual average weight of the load plus or minus .25-.40 per pound. Some early weaned lots have a slide of .50-1.00 per pound. Early weaned pigs are under 21 days old. Estimated lean value is projected to use slaughter weights with normal confinement feeding conditions. Vaccination and health program values are not included but health status should be disclosed.
